Laggin'
I haven't updated this blog in a couple of days. I've been in a lull lately thinking of what to blog about. So, I figured I should write something just so it looks like I keep this updated.
I had jury duty about a week ago and that was quite an ordeal. The jury selection process is so tedious and boring. Luckily, I didn't get chosen, but I did have to go back for a second day. On that second day, I got out at 11am and headed out to LA for some stops. I had lunch w/ Sha and went to the Bev Center to look for a suit (actually picked up a suit at H&M in Santa Anita), then I headed to Kid Robot, Undftd and American Rag. I came out with a pair of Gourmets and a reach bear toy. All and all, money spent that shouldn't have been spent...ha.
Other than that, no new updates on this side of town. Until the next post, see ya.

Gourmet Meal
So I caught a pic of one of the latest shoes from the brand Gourmet. At first, I wasn't really impressed with their deubt line a couple of seasons ago. Bascially, their sneakers that they came out with were Jordan inspired and had a similar resemblence to certain Jordan models. Anyways, the current shoe in their new line is really simple and clean. The model is called L'Cinque and I really like 'em. It's a casual shoe with lots of potential.

Night One in Vegas

So Sha, Wilson and I headed out for Vegas on Friday night for Doni's bday (Will and Bianca too). We left for Vegas a little after 8pm and arrived in Vegas around 12:30am. We met up w/ Doni at the Platinum Hotel which is where we were staying at. The hotel is super clean and nice but a huge drawback is it's lack of a casino.
We entered the room and we see Doni, her friend Lindsey and Mico's friend Dianne chillin' and basically NOT DRINKING! We had to liven up the atmos in the room so Sha, Wilson and I started drinking and started being loud and whatnot, haha. I was knockin' back some vodka crans and vodka oj's and so were Sha and Wilson. Everyone seemed pretty dead and/or tired. Doni and her friend Lindsey were down to go out while the rest of the peeps were in their pj's (Bianca and her buddies). We got on Bianca's case because she needed to come out and enjoy Vegas as a newly, fresh 21 year old.
Will also came to the room to meet us up and say what up as well. He came out with me, Doni, Sha, Wilson and Lindsey. We needed an alki fix so we walked to the Planet Hollywood hotel and drank a little more. From then, we started to gamble. Doni and Wilson hit up the roulette tables and Will and I went for the pai gow table. It was actually my first time playing pai gow. It's a fun game, but slow at times because there's mad pushes in the game. I lost $40 and that ended my night of gambling.
We all stayed up 'til 5:30am and Sha, Wilson and I were totally surprised that we were not that tired considering that we were up since 6am the day before. We called it a night and walked back to Platinum and ended up crashing out for the evening or morning however you look at it.
