July: Concert Month

July 15th: Coldplay at the Forum

Amazing show. Coldplay never disappoints. They gave a great set for an hour and a half. Most of it was from the latest 3 albums. I wish they played more from Parachutes, but I guess it's a little old for what the tour is for right now. Highlights of the night....impromtu Yellow acoustic set in the nosebleed section, Chris Martin fucking up some of the lyrics and overall, the entire show was a highlight. If you're a Coldplay fan, try to get out and see them live...well worth it.

July 19th: HARD music fest

It was an interesting night to say the least. It was me and 5 girls....story of my life, =P. Anyways, it was me, Sha, Alia, Loe and Juls. We met at Alia's and head out to the Shrine. Called a cab to go to the Shrine and man, the cab driver was sketchy! Small, old Asian dude that drives all herky jerky. Sha was about to throw up, ha.

After the crazy cab ride, we went into the Shrine VIP status and started to load up at the open bar. By midnight...Sha and Loe were gone. Plus, the two of them lost their crackberrys. As for the music...highlights of the night were NERD and MSTRKRFT. It was a good night of music besides the fact that there were too many kids there and rolling out of the minds. No hate to any ravers or whatnot, but young teens are just annoying.

Coming soon, Paramore July 30th.
