The Pursuit of Happiness

It's one of those odd questions or statements that people tend to throw around these days, but in my case, the pursuit is happiness is more of a reality now.

One word: work. Have you ever had the feeling that work is not satisfying any of your mental, physical and or emotional needs? For me, none of these things are met. Everyday is a drag for me to get out of bed to come to a place and I've grown to hate. Don't get me wrong, I don't hate my co-workers...some of them are pretty cool. It's just the management here that sucks major balls. If work was about keeping your employees happy, well, they're doing a terrible job.

If you're reading this, you might be thinking "wow, Danny is complaining like a little bitch right now." Well, that fact is....yeah, I am complaining, but you would be doing the same if you were at a place where you don't want to be 5 days out of the week. If the pay was different, maybe i would be singing a different tune, but in this case, I don't know if there is enough money for me to like it here.

What I'm trying to say is, please do something that YOU want to do and not just because it's a job and it pays well. I know it's easy to say because most, if not all of us, have bills to pay and other responsibilities that need some type of monetary action. As cliche as it sounds, please follow your heart when it comes to work and anything else and then, maybe, the pursuit will finally end.

El Fin.
