The Chef's Special

So I decided to make myself some dinner tonight and I kind of went the gourmet route I guess. Anyways, on the menu tonight was Seared Ahi Tuna Salad w/ Tomato Bruschetta. Read on because it'll be a step by step of what I did for this delicious dinner. Enjoy!

Bruschetta: chopped up the tomatoes into a large bowl and added extra virgin olive oil, salt/pepper, thyme and some basil. The end result was quite good. I have another rendition of tomato bruschetta where I use grape tomatoes, mix all the same things, but add honey as well and put them in the oven at 300 degrees for 1hr 20min. On your toasted baguette, spread some goat cheese or ricotta and then top w/ the tomatoes. BOMB.COM.

For the tuna, i just seasoned w/ salt and pepper and a little olive oil. You want the fish medium rare because it'll taste best that way. For a dipping sauce, mix soy sauce w/ sesame oil.
