Tour De Cure

So this past Sunday, some of us did a bike ride to help raise money/awareness for diabetes research. It was called Tour De Cure Ship to Shore in Long Beach. There was about 800+ riders that were participating that day. As for our group, it was 9 of us and we happened to raise a little over $1500 for the fundraiser. Anyways, most of us did the 20 mile ride while AJ and Gib mashed the 60 mile ride w/ most of the roadies.

To be honest, the route was a surprise for most of us. There were many inclines on this route w/ the 2 monstrous inclines on the San Pedro bridge. The ride itself was a good test for most of the riders that don't ride often and a test for me as well since I don't mash up/down inclines often. We all finished and felt great after the ride, like we accomplished something that was positive and profound towards a goal. Enjoy the pictures.
