As for Saturday, it was the day of the big fight between Pacman and Hitman and another unexpected fight with participants to be named later. Anyways, I went to Sha's in the afternoon and we went to go eat at Koba Tofu Grill. This place is great if you want to get down on some kbbq w/o the all you can eat hoopla. We both got down on the beef bulgolgi and it hit the spot. After lunch, we headed back to Sha's to watch Big Fish. It was our fist time watching it and the movie is not bad. A bit random at times, but the story keeps you locked in and interested.
The second half of the day started off w/ the Bulls vs Celtics (hated ones) and to all of our dismay, the Baby Bulls lost in game 7. Good run Chitown, good run. After the game was over, we turned to HBO for the Pacman/Hitman fight. So much hype around this fight w/ the Pacqiuo/Hatton 24/7 series on HBO. I'm not gonna lie, that hooked me right in to watch this fight. Wilson, Rach, Ro, Wally, Louis and some of Byron's friends came over Sha's to watch the fight. Ohhhhh man, can we say murdered?!?! If you don't know by now, Pacman annaihlated Hitman by round 2. It was a ahhhmaazing. Too bad Wally and Louis walked in right when Hatton was on the ground, haha!
After the fight, we chilled for a bit before we headed out to LAX for Cathy's birthday. We got to the club around 11 something and it was pretty slow that night, but we tried to make it work. Cathy was already done-zo when we got there. LAX is a pretty cool spot, a bit small, but the outside patios are pretty cool. Anyways, peep the video below and it'll explain the whole night. Oh, and the participants in the latter fight (sort of) that night...Sha and Loe, haha. Due to video size, not able to upload. If you run into any of us, we'll recap for you
Ahh, I woke up w/ a little hangover on Sunday morning which was not good because I had to drive to Pasadena for the bike ride. I got to AJ's around 10:30 and then proceeded to ride to the Rose Bowl to meet up all the other riders. There was about 50+ riders for this Drif x Bike Day LA ride. It was cool seeing all the bikes and meeting a few guys. Man, first half of the rider was a killer...started off going up hill for the majority of the first 4 miles or so. After the grueling uphill, it was all down hill from there (literally). It was awesome biking around the LA area and catching the sites, but the sun beaming that day and it wasn't pleasant. We got to Drif bike shop around 2:30 I believe and I decided I would end my ride there. So from there, I headed to Union Station to catch a train back to Pasadena.
